Audrey Justine Tautou has been a French actor since the beginning of the 1990s. Her portrayal of an introverted waitress, Amelie won her many accolades and awards. Tautou has been compared numerous times to Audrey Hepburn due to her charm, beauty and acting talents. It's not surprising that she decided to pursue acting as a career. Her birthplace was an enlightened family, with an uncle who was an academic and her mom who worked as dentist. At school, she caught the acting bug and made a decision to become a full-time actor. She attended the Cours-Florent acting academy and was offered her first acting role in the popular TV show Coeur de cible. Venus Beauty Institute was her first feature film, for which she received high praise. The daring actress has a passion for playing a broad assortment of characters. She's been in films of various styles, ranging from Amelie the romantic movie to Dirty Pretty Things the thriller. A native of France she appeared in several French films before she made her Hollywood debut along with Tom Hanks in the film The Da Vinci Code. She is a highly regarded model for her fashion sense.
